My name is Carol, and my love for animals began when I was just five years old, when I would rescue stray animals, care for them, and find them loving homes. Although I originally dreamed of becoming a veterinarian and later became a nurse, my passion for animals never faded. In 2008, I attended the American Academy of Pet Grooming, where I discovered a natural talent for cat grooming, and in 2009 I opened Happy Paws Boutique Inc. Over the years, I became a competitive groomer, operated three storefronts on Staten Island, and eventually transitioned to mobile grooming. After stepping away from my business to care for my mother, I found my way back to the work I love. Today, I am excited to bring my years of experience, expertise, compassion, and professionalism to Fur Star Resort, where I look forward to caring for your beloved pets. I believe regular grooming is not only important for helping pets look and feel their best, but also provides an opportunity for early detection of changes that may need veterinary attention.
