What are your hours of operation?
We welcome drop-offs and pick-ups:
Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Saturday – Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
What vaccinations are required?
To protect all of our guests, we require up-to-date Rabies, DHPP (Distemper/Parvo), and Bordetella vaccinations. The Canine Influenza vaccine is strongly recommended.
Do you care for cats?
Yes. Fur Star Resort welcomes both dogs and cats. We offer boarding and professional grooming services for cats. Please contact us for details or to discuss your cat’s individual needs.
Boarding
What should I bring for my pet’s boarding stay?
We recommend bringing your pet’s regular food to keep their routine consistent and help prevent digestive upset. You’re welcome to include a favorite toy or small blanket from home for added comfort. We provide premium bedding and bowls.
How do I know which boarding accommodation is right for my pet?
We offer several accommodation sizes designed for comfort and security. Our team will help you select the best option based on your pet’s size and individual needs.
Are the play areas supervised?
Yes. All indoor and outdoor play sessions are carefully supervised by our certified animal care team to ensure a safe and structured environment.
Daycare
Is an evaluation required before my dog attends daycare?
Yes. All new daycare guests must complete a complimentary behavioral evaluation before attending daycare. Dogs that have not visited Fur Star Resort for six months or longer must be re-evaluated before resuming daycare.
Are the play areas supervised?
Yes. All indoor and outdoor play sessions are carefully supervised by our certified animal care team to provide a safe, structured, and engaging environment.
Grooming
Do I need an appointment for grooming?
Appointments are recommended to ensure availability at your preferred time. We’re always happy to check for last-minute openings when possible.
Do you groom cats?
Yes. Professional grooming services are available for both dogs and cats. Please contact us to discuss your pet’s grooming needs and schedule an appointment.
Training
Who will be training my dog?
Training is conducted under the supervision of our Co-Founder and Head Trainer, Eric “Igor” Chertkov, who brings decades of professional experience in canine behavior and training, including military, law enforcement, personal protection, and service dogs.
Is an evaluation required for training?
Yes. A complimentary training evaluation is required so we can better understand your dog’s behavior, needs, and training goals and recommend the most appropriate training approach and duration. Pricing is also determined based on the evaluation.
Transportation
Do you offer pet transportation?
Yes. Fur Star Resort offers scheduled door-to-door transportation for added convenience. Pets travel in a secure, climate-controlled vehicle, and availability may vary by location and service.
